Website statistics
We use Koko Analytics and its Pro add-on to understand how the website is used and improve the service. Koko’s analytics database is hosted with our WordPress website. Visitor analytics are not sent to Koko Analytics or a separate external analytics platform.
Koko is configured without analytics cookies. To distinguish visitors within a single day, it creates a temporary identifier from an IP address, browser information and a secret that changes daily. This is a limited form of fingerprinting used for daily visitor counting. The identifier is not used to recognise the same visitor across different days or websites.
The original IP address and full browser user-agent string are not saved in Koko’s analytics records. Temporary identifiers and their associated lists of visited pages are cleared at midnight. This does not affect technical logs maintained for hosting or security.
The statistics we view include:
- Daily visitor counts and pageviews.
- Referring websites.
- The estimated countries visitors come from.
- Browser families, operating systems and device types.
- Clicks on links leading to other websites.
- Form submission events.
Country estimates are obtained by looking up an IP address in a geolocation database installed on our server. The IP address is used for the lookup but is not stored in Koko’s analytics records or sent to an external geolocation service. We use country-level estimates, not GPS coordinates or a precise location.
Browser and device information is used to group visits by browser family, operating system and device type, such as desktop, tablet or mobile.
Event tracking counts outbound-link clicks and form submission events. We do not add names, email addresses or message contents to analytics event labels. Any information you send us to make an enquiry is handled separately, as described below.
UTM campaign tracking is disabled in our current configuration.
The statistics are presented as aggregate counts. We do not use them to identify visitors, create advertising profiles or track people across websites.
Hosting and security
Hostinger hosts our website on a server in Massachusetts, United States. We also use Cloudflare to deliver pages efficiently and protect the website, and Wordfence to help detect and prevent malicious activity.
These services process technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, request times and security events. This information is used to deliver the website, investigate errors and prevent abuse.
Security features may use cookies needed to perform security checks. Koko does not set analytics cookies in our current configuration.
How long information is kept
Koko’s temporary visitor identifiers and their associated lists of visited pages are cleared at midnight. Historical aggregate statistics are retained separately to compare website use over time. Koko is configured to automatically delete statistics older than 36 months.
Wordfence Live Traffic is configured to retain records for 30 days. This setting does not establish the retention period for other logs or backup copies.
Cloudflare’s Security Analytics and Security Events datasets retain information for up to 31 days under our current plan. This is not a universal retention limit for all Cloudflare operational data. Other operational data is handled under Cloudflare’s retention policies.
Hostinger retains hosting access logs and error logs for seven days. Infrastructure security logs are retained for at least six months, and longer where needed to fulfil its obligations. Hostinger sets these retention periods; we cannot customise them.
Hostinger retains weekly website backups for six weeks and, where daily backups are included, daily backups for seven days. Older backups are then deleted. These hosting backups do not include the study collections and notes stored only in your browser.
If you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you provide. We use it to respond and handle your enquiry.
We keep correspondence while the enquiry remains open. Afterward, we retain it only where needed to document its resolution, address a dispute or meet a legal obligation. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
Legal basis
Where we process personal information, we rely on our legitimate interests in providing a functioning and secure website, understanding its use through limited statistics and responding to enquiries. Where information must be retained to meet a legal obligation, that obligation is the legal basis.
Processing outside the EEA
Because our hosting server is in the United States, website visitor information is processed outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare and the providers’ subprocessors may also process information in other countries.
Hostinger’s Data Processing Addendum provides for EU Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable international transfers. Cloudflare’s agreement provides for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.
Details of these safeguards are available in the providers’ agreements:
- Hostinger: https://www.hostinger.com/legal/dpa
- Cloudflare: https://www.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa/
You can also contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

If you follow a link to another website, that website handles information under its own privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access to your personal information, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. The right to data portability applies where its legal conditions are met.
Please send requests to info@yeshuasaid.com. We may need information to verify your identity. We do not collect additional identifying information solely to identify you in our website statistics.
You may complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet, at https://www.datatilsynet.no/.
