How YeshuaSaid works

What did Jesus say about forgiveness, worry or money? YeshuaSaid brings together passages that can help you explore questions like these.

What is included

We encourage you to read the whole Bible. YeshuaSaid focuses specifically on Jesus’ recorded words in the four Gospels, Acts and Revelation. It follows passages commonly marked as Jesus’ speech in red-letter Bibles, though there are places where readers disagree about who is speaking.

Open the context view to read the surrounding chapter, including the narration and other speakers. Related verses are shown together as passages. Highlighted words match your search or the displayed topic name. A passage can be relevant without containing those exact words.

How search works

Topic searches show the closest matches first. When a word covers several related topics, their results appear together. Use the optional topic filters to narrow the list. Choose “Bible order” to read the results in the order they appear in the Bible.

A recognized parable name or phrase can take you straight to the relevant passage. Where parallel passages are linked, you can open them to read the corresponding accounts.

Bible translations

You can choose between the World English Bible (WEB) and the King James Version (KJV).

Some verses appear in one translation but not the other. The site marks these differences rather than filling gaps with text from another translation.

The project’s budget does not currently cover licensing more translations. Your support could help add more options in the future.

To read the same passage in other Bible translations, choose “Other translations” below a passage. This opens BibleGateway in a new tab, where you can choose your preferred translation and compare versions.

Editorial choices

YeshuaSaid is created and maintained by Viktor and operated by Addpoint AS in Norway.

Topic names, search expressions, passage boundaries and links between Gospel accounts are editorial choices. They help you find passages; they are not part of Scripture.

AI helps assess how closely verses relate to each topic and order the results. The Bible text itself comes from the translation you select.

Topic definitions and selected results are reviewed, including cases flagged during checks by other AI models. Connections are revised when checks or reader feedback reveal a problem. Not every connection has been checked by a person, and some results will be less helpful than others.

Reading the surrounding passage is the best way to see whether a result fits your question. If you spot a mistake, please get in touch and include what you searched for and which verse seemed out of place.

David Tait’s The Recorded Words of Jesus, published by Walking With Jesus Ministries, helped inform the review of passage boundaries.
